Charlotte's Gold Standard Chorus won the Carolinas District Chorus Championship, held March 19th in Myrtle Beach, SC.  The chorus, comprised of 29 men, earned high scores for their renditions of "Old Piano Roll Blues" and "There'll Be No New Tunes on this Old Piano".   Their performance, under the direction of Larry Lane, brought the title back to Charlotte for the first time in 29 years.
